Women’s Health
The Women’s Health Clinic offers students interested in obstetrics and gynecology an opportunity to familiarize themselves with common conditions in a clinic setting. Volunteers will learn what labs, immunizations, and supplies are needed day to day. Clinic volunteers are responsible for obtaining health histories, presenting cases to the provider, and documenting visits in the patient’s medical record. Volunteering provides an avenue for future students interested in obstetrics and gynecology a way to give back to the community doing something they are passionate about.

Billianne Schultz
Director & Co-Founder
Billianne is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering. As a Co-Founder, she has been a part of Avicenna's Women's Health Clinic since spring 2023. She is a fourth-year medical student passionate about women's health, reproductive health, advocacy, and comprehensive care.
Ameek Bindra
Clinic Manager
Ameek is from Princeton, New Jersey, and graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Data Science, where she was also a Health Innovation Fellow at the School of Public Health. She joined Avicenna Women’s Health Clinic as an intake volunteer at its founding. Ameek is especially passionate about reproductive health access, particularly in light of national legislative changes and the needs of patients in Central Illinois. She helped bring emergency contraception into the clinic and is committed to building inclusive, accessible care for underserved and immigrant communities.
Nikita Chigullapally
Assistant Clinic Manager
Nikita Chigullapally is a second-year medical student with a strong commitment to women's health and patient advocacy. Originally from Fremont, California, she graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a degree in Nutritional Sciences: Physiology and Metabolism. Nikita began volunteering with Avicenna in Fall 2024 as a primary care intake volunteer and later joined the Women’s Health Clinic team as Assistant Clinic Manager in Spring 2025. She is passionate about advancing health equity and providing compassionate, culturally sensitive care to underserved communities.
Meenakshi Singhal
Operations Manager
Meenakshi is a second-year medical student at Carle Illinois COM and grew up in the SF Bay Area. Prior to med school, she received her undergraduate degree in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and volunteered at a women’s drop-in shelter. She joined the Women’s Health Clinic in Fall 2024 as an intake volunteer and looks forward to pursuing her interests in expanding health literacy and access to care.
Eve Emmanouilidou
Grants and Donations
Eve is a fourth-year medical student at Carle Illinois COM. Prior to medical school, she completed a PhD and postdoctoral studies at the University of California Los Angeles. In her role as Grants and Donations lead she has secured donations for contraceptives and she also regularly volunteers at the clinic.
